Who We Support

These are the organizations that you can donate to to be entered into the raffle. While they have a range of purposes ranging from education, to legal help, to emotional support, all organizations work to empower Black voices and challenge the United States' culture of white supremacy.

BLACK ARTS FUTURE FUND

The Black Art Futures Fund works to amplify and strengthen the future of  Black arts through grants and donations to community centered arts and culture organizations. A portion of each grant goes towards a consultation with Red Olive Creative Consulting to support the future financial growth and stabilization of each organization.

BLACK GIRLS CODE

Black Girls CODE introduces computer coding lessons to young girls from underrepresented communities and aims to prove to the world that girls of every color have the skills to become the programmers of tomorrow. Black Girls CODE works primarily through workshops and after school programs that seek to bridge the digital divide preventing young girls of color from professions in technology.

BLACK VOTERS MATTER FUND

The Black Voters Matter Fund works to increase power in Black communities through effective voting practices. They organize voters, policy advocacy, and organizational development and training.

PHILADELPHIA LAWYERS FOR SOCIAL EQUITY

Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity provides free legal advice and representation to low-income Philadelphia residents. This includes expungement and pardon help, education and training, and fair employment representation.

The Loveland Foundation provides financial assistance to Black women and girls seeking therapy.

THE TRANSGENDER LAW CENTER: BLACK LGBTQIA+ MIGRANT PROJECT

The Transgender Law Center seeks to build and center the power of Black LGBTQIA+ migrants to ensure the liberation of all Black people through community-building, political education, creating access to direct services, and organizing across borders. BLMP is providing cash assistance to Black LGBTQ+ migrants and first generation people dealing with the impact of COVID-19.
